March 1, 2019 – We are pleased to announce Erick Harris as O’Fallon Fire Rescue’s very first full-time Deputy Chief. Erick has worked for the City of O’Fallon for over ten years; the last five as the fire department’s Fire Safety Educator & Inspector. In addition to his dedicated service to our community, he brings over 20 years of fire service experience. Current volunteer Deputy Chief Tim Claxton will remain an important asset to our department and will assume the role of Captain. We are thankful for Captain Claxton’s leadership throughout his tenure as Deputy Chief, and throughout our command staff transition over the past several months. We are grateful to continue to have him as a part of our officer corps. Thank you Captain Claxton and congratulations, Deputy Chief Harris!
